Supermoto motorcycles evolved from motocross and enduro machines (typically 450 cc to 610 cc and more). Fitted with road tires and rims while keeping the other features synonymous with off road machines, these machines are quickly gaining popularity as street bikes, based on their on-road grip and light weight. Supermoto competitions are over a course that mixes tarmac (road racing) and off road (motocross) sections.
